Hello everyone. I thought I would start this morning by just jotting some thoughts down, ill be in the comments as well. I want it very clear I am not going dark, I am just going to start condensing things so that I can keep track of customer support better. Now with that said... What a freakin year. I cannot thank you all enough for your support and your belief in me. Obviously, with any company, bumps in the road are expected. Some issues you can plan for, most you cannot. I want you all to know how much I appreciate you all taking this journey with me. Those that forgive, those that show gratitude, those that applaud and those that condemn. Im grateful for those that pointed out issues and those that defended me to the masses. None of this could be possible without you.
Are the books perfect? No way Jose. If I were a perfect being the books might have had better art inside them, they might have had a better material on the covers. Issues like warping and lamination would have been avoided, there would have been no delays and nobodys orders would have just disappeared...
Can the books be perfect? I think so. I have learned so much from this first round of trying to make something and I want to continue to make an awesome experience for everyone involved. Im working with better artists, designing maps for the books. Sourcing better materials, and have new methods of assembly that get rid of issues like lamination peel and warping. Im working with editors to heal my spelling wounds and make sure images and text are pristine and facing the right direction. Overall the second round of books should be leagues above this first try.
With the new year around the corner I want to let everyone know I will continue working every day to perfect these babies. Things will grow, things will change. I also have new ideas and products that I hope I can convince a few of you to experience with me as we create a powerful community of creators for something we all love so much.

Hey everyone. Just in terms of transparency, I took the weekend off with the customer service emails. I have 186 looking at it this morning. If I haven't responded yet that is why. Dont worry. It is all I am going to do today. Thanks for being patient and giving me the weekend to regroup!

United States... Ignore everything in this section and skip down to

Everyone else, your rewards should either be in your hands or in the mail.
Q: I never received an email with a tracking link. What do I do?
A: First, if you never received an email, but your rewards arrived,
then enjoy them. Otherwise, check your spam folder to make sure that
you didn't miss it. If you can't find one, your rewards have not been
shipped.
Q: Why would my rewards still not have shipped?
A: You never completed your survey on Backerkit.
Q: Okay, how can I fix that?

REST OF WORLD
Happyshops informed us this morning that they were prepping to start
shipping tomorrow. We have confirmed that their shipping back-end has
all the order information uploaded, and are expecting a confirmation
that shipping has started this morning!

Evening everyone, sincerely you are the best community! I love the support emails that just say, "thank you" you have no idea how much those mean to me.
Gamerati is the company that I have trusted to do my fulfillment for this project and they have been a godsend. Ed and Joey are amazing people who some of you have had the pleasure to chat with via email and they have honestly made this whole project doable from day one.
Ed recently sent me an amazing update on Canada EU and everywhere else. I think the best thing to do would be to just copy and paste that email here.
"Tanner,
Here is a complete fulfillment update for the Immersive Battle Maps
project. Feel free to copy & paste this - in whole or in part - for
your backers to read.
SOUTHEAST ASIA
VFI has confirmed that they are 100% complete with fulfillment. All
backers in SE Asia should have their rewards.
ANTIPODES
Aetherworks has confirmed that they are 100% complete with
fulfillment. All backers in Australia and New Zealand should have
their rewards.
UNITED STATES
We are 100% complete with initial fulfillment. That said, not all
backers will have their rewards, yet. All USA backers should have
their rewards by Friday, 15 NOV. We are aware that some rewards were
returned. My Logistics Manager will pick them up from the USPS on
Tuesday, so we can check for address corrections and get them back out
the door next week.
CANADA
As you know, Starlit Logstics is closing down. That said, I'm happy to
say we can step in and service your Canadian backers.
All the Canadian product arrived at our warehouse in Lakewood, WA on
Friday afternoon. As you know, Monday is a holiday, but my Logistics
Manager and Shop Foreman have agreed to come in and prep so we can get
rewards out ASAP.
We want to make sure we have the most current, accurate and up-to-date
information. Per our conversation, message your Canadian backers and
make sure they verify their mailing address. Please then send us the
complete list of backers and rewards before 9 AM PST on Monday, 11
NOV.
This will allow us to print out all the packing slips and postage
labels on Monday, so the warehouse staff can jump right into work come
Tuesday morning.
We have ordered the boxes we'll need in order to ship rewards to
Canada. Assuming the boxes arrive on Monday, we'll we able to start
shipping on Tuesday, 12 NOV.
All backer rewards should be out the door by Friday, 15 NOV.
UPS informs us that it will take 5 - 10 business days for all
shipments to arrive.
This means all Canadian backers should have their rewards by the end
of November.
REST OF WORLD
Any backers that do not live in the above-mentioned countries are
going to be serviced by Happyshops.
All the product arrived in Germany on 18 OCT.
On 04 NOV, Happyshops informed us they need to order boxes before
shipping of rewards can begin. I'm not sure why they took three weeks
to let us know this, but they did. We immediately asked them to place
the box order.
Happyshops informed us that the boxes will not arrive until 21 NOV,
which means backer rewards for 'the rest of the world' will not start
shipping out until after 21 NOV.
Alas, there is nothing we can do to speed this up. It's out of our hands.
My Logistics Manager will be monitoring the box delivery so we can let
you know the moment shipping out of Germany begins."
Was an awesome email to receive from an awesome group of people.

Hey everyone. I’m ready for the flack I’ll get from this update. I just want you to all know I’m frustrated and doing everything I can to get things sorted. I spoke with Ed at gamerati today after pressing for updates on shipping for Canada and EU including South America. The update from Ed was that the 1800 packages in Canada have just been sitting warehouse as their staff quit last week. I wish I was making this up. We’re trying to get them to send the packages back and pay for it. I learned this today. Worse case scenario is I pay to get them back which I will absolutely do and then fulfill from the US, it won’t cost the backers anything other then more time.
I’m saddened at this news. I think the books are awesome and all I want is for everyone to get them and love them.
Now for the EU drama. Ed tells me that happyshops didn’t order boxes for our shipment until they got back from speil and that the boxes won’t get here until nov 21st. I am super frustrated with happyshops and am working with gamerati to find other solutions. Ed told me to hold off on this update until tomorrow but if I were a backer I would want to know.
All my time is dedicated to solving this.
The worst part is the books are sitting in both warehouses...
I want to compensate everyone for the wait. I have maps created for the eventual fantasy map book vol 2. I will update tomorrow with a link to download those in a backer only update. I know this won’t make up for the missing books but I hope you’ll like them and remember why you backed the vision: To make affordable products that make role playing games more fun for everyone !
